Hi, everyone!  What do you guys use to prep your hair before intalling?  Ive read clarifying shampoo, condition only the ends.  Just curious if anyone has not shampooed their hair, but used like alcohol or vinegar on the roots before installing?  I only ask because I thought about doing it tonight, but didnt want to wash my hair again and then have to get it dry.

Thanks!

Metalgirl has always advised to wash 3 times with dish soap...she is an expert so I do what she advises and have had great success...

I just have my clients use a clarifying shampoo and only condition the ends of their hair like you said. I haven't heard of using vinegar or alcohol, maybe some one else will know more about that.

I dont condition right before an install, but I wash with a clarifying shampoo.  Then I use a little spray on conditioner after the install, if I feel it necessary.
