I was wondering if there was a way to get rid of a perm once you have had it in a while. if not what are some things to do to get straight hair again?? i tried to blow it dry with a brush to straighten it but i looked like madoosa by the time that was over with...fluff head!! any answers would be great...thanks Replies: Posted By: weetieweet Date Posted: January 14 2006 at 2:21pm I had to just wait until it grew out.  I went in to the salon to get my regular trims to make sure it was growing out right.  Blow drying my hair when I had a perm did nothing but make my hair poofy also.  I'm not sure how else to get your hair straight other than go to the salon! Permed hair is very fragile and needs to be treated very gently and carefully. Using a flat iron or a blow dryer will just completely fry the hair. I hate to say it, but the best advice is to let it grow out. ------------- DANGER! I drive like you do.
