I got a perm last sept. I was wondering if there was a way to get rid of a perm once you have had it in a while. if not what are some things to do to get straight hair again?? i tried to blow it dry with a brush to straighten it but i looked like madoosa by the time that was over with...fluff head!! any answers would be great...thanks

I had to just wait until it grew out.  I went in to the salon to get my regular trims to make sure it was growing out right.  Blow drying my hair when I had a perm did nothing but make my hair poofy also.  I'm not sure how else to get your hair straight other than go to the salon!

I would not recommend using any heat styling product on permed hair. Permed hair is very fragile and needs to be treated very gently and carefully. Using a flat iron or a blow dryer will just completely fry the hair. I hate to say it, but the best advice is to let it grow out.
