well, im sure ppl started noticin a long time ago. back before hair grease was invented, the only thing that black ppl had for their hair was pomade. they would pack their hair w/ pomade so that it would be all flat and shiny. im guessin this prolly eventually straightened their curls and they got wavy hair.

haha, you know how you see the old pic or w/e of the real slick bright guy in the tux w/ wavy hair packed w/ pomade from the early 1900's. they also had finger waves and stuff like that which was popular amoung black men and women at that time.

then i guess they jes started brushing when all that good stuff came along. then on top of that, alot of black baby's are born w/ natuarally wavy hair.

yeah i was like dat. i have an old memory of my uncle tellin the barber, " can you try to cut all those waves out.?" i could have been up their with ced and sjay if i could have kept them

and then, his cousin, bombad, LUSTER, wanted waves too, so he followed his same recipe. but it didn't work, cause his hair was straight. but he kept tryin' when lister found out, he peed in lusters batch of ancient "pomade" and next day, luster put it in his hair, and he had waves, but it faded after a week and kinda damaged his hair. luster found out,about the urine and ever since, he's been dunkin his head into toilets. thus the lusters s-curl (s standing for sickly) KIT.

Now let me tell u about Du-rags....

Grady Lister my Grand-dad, was gettin' clowned for wearing panty hose on his head and Grand-ma Ella decided that he was the one stealing so she made him a makeshift cap.....now refered to as the du-rag.

and luster tripped and fell into a giant mound of rabbit poop. he was so poor, he had no plumbing, he he tryed to brush it all out. in about 2 weeks, he had waves. he now has his own rabbit farms, and he feeds them nothin but carrots. and they in time produce, rabbit poop, or "carrot creme"
