Whats good ppl i been readin these forums for a couple weeks n im startin to develop a wave pattern. my waves r pretty good on the top n a few waves in the back but my sides keep getting nappy every time i put a durag on. i use dax wave n groom in the red can and carrot creame for moisture. when i put in the dax i can see about 1 or 2 waves on the sides but soon as i put on my durag and i take it off theyre gone and i cant get my sides 2 stay flat. im going 2 switch 2 a stocking cap 2 see if i get better results. has anyone else had this problem when using a durag? are there any special types of durags or caps that are really good?

I brush my hair at least an hour a day but it might b the way i tie my durag that messes up my sides. i usually tie it jus tight enough so i wont cut of my circulation. i'll jus see what happens when i start using a stocking cap or both. thanks for the replies

IT WILL TAKE A WHILE TO DEVELOP THE SIDES THEY R THE HARDEST BUT I DONT RECCOMEND SWITCHING DO A STOCKING CAP THOSE MAKE WAVES FADE OUT.

the key is not to cake your hair up with pomades or thick creams beacause your waves will have too much hold.

take that hour that you spend brushing ur hair, and devote it to nothing but ur sides. also try spraying ur du rag w/ water to get ur hair flatter.
