So, I believe I may have found my secret formula for getting these
wretched pro-tac strips to stay in my hair! It goes like this:

Wash hair 3 times with Seventh Generation naural dish soap
Blow dry immediately
After each strip is attached, blow dry with a very hot hairdryer for as long
as I can stand it.
repeat
Wait full 24 hours before first wash.

I think the hairdryer might be the secret ingredient. I'm not sure... but
thats my routine and I'm sticking to it!

This is a breakthrough for me, because I was going to give up on them
forever if this install had washed straight out. I've failed at least 4 or 5
attempts since I last posted about it... so on top of that and an order of
strips going missing from my doorstep I thought it just wasn't meant to
be... :(

However! This evening has put a silver lining on my cloud! Sweet!

I've had troubles getting them to stay in on the bottom rows in the back.

Have they been slipping right out?  What kind of hair do you have?

I've anchored the back ones with shrinkies.  So far, they're still in.  It's been a whole week!

When mine don't work, they wash out with the first wash... like just rinse
straight out almost as if they had no glue on them at all.
I've just been using Outre from the bss. But you know, thats made me
think... this time I had washed and dried the hair before installing it... maybe
that helped also, there might have been a coating on the weft from whatever
treatments the hair has had.

I think anchoring them with the shrinks is a great idea.It could definitely help for the people who cant keep them in.Plus it would work for bonded wefts as well. That was my prob with bonded wefts.Nothing would hold them in.By the end of the week of wearing them I could just pull them right out.

I think your right dunebug,I'm sure the silicone on the hair plays a role in them coming out.
