Hi liz_naz, I NEVER use heating appliances. Curling irons, hair dryers...exc...I never use them. I never comb when my hair is wet. Anything damaging to my hair, I try to stay away from.
I wash my hair about 4 times a week and use conditioner once or twice.
I was thinking the scissors weren`t sharp enough. Must they be VERY sharp.???

That may be a cause, are you using proper scissors? It doesn`t take much for hair scissors to dull because you only use the first inch of them, or you are supposed to.
When in doubt throw them out. Get a pair from a beauty supply. Make sure they have a screw that you could use a screwdriver on and also hold them up to the light and see if there is a big gap between the blades. The more light you can see the worse they are.
They might be able to be tightened if they have the screw.
Do not sharpen or sand your scissors. If you did not pay more than $100 then get a new pair.
Arius Eickert is a good brand.
