hey guys, i was just thinking the other day how great it wud be to have chemically striaghtened hair...i mean think about it, u dont have to iron ur hair and all that other anpoying crap and it always looks good, even when u wakeupo and even after swimming or a shower.

Im a guy and my hair is naturally striaght but i iron it to get it flatter and flicky so i can style it the way i do

Would chemically striaghtenigng my hair be a good option to cut down on styling time and have my hair always looking like it does in the pic above or is it just a waste of time. Someone enlighten me

Personally, I think it's a waste of money. (unless you make more than $100 per 20 seconds like Bill Gates, the time saved isn't worth it)

Chemical straightening is expensive. And it doesn't last more than approximately 2-3 months, from my knowledge (someone correct me if I'm wrong) Most of the time it results in permanent damage to the hair, whether the damage is noticeable or not.

If you're really interested in doing it, definitely get a professional opinion (and have them do a strand test on your hair to see if there would be any negative results.

Good luck
