I was surprised to see that 8 out of the 10 celebrities were overwhelmingly voted better-looking with their long hair, especially since - in my opinion - the site has used much more flattering photos of them with their shorter looks (e.g. the one of Keira Knightley with her long hair is just terrible!) I was especially surprised by the verdict on Natalie Portman. I think they all look great with long AND short hair! ------------- Give a man a fire and he's warm for a day, but set fire to him and he's warm for the rest of his life. |

I had eight out of ten looking better in short hair. But I believe most women, if they are feminine and beautiful, look better in short hairstyles. ------------- Brent |

One other thing: THIS pic of "long" Julia Stiles is mediocre. When she had *really* long, waist-length cascades a decade ago, she was one of the most stunning women in Hollywood. Now, just average cute in my eyes. Thanks, Kramer. Best, Bob |
Well, I voted for long hair on all nine. (Surprise!) Ironically, Sharon Stone and Brittany Murphy, the two women who received the most "short" votes, are the two who look most dramatically improved with length, IMO. I absolutely believe that both would receive more second looks on the streets with long hair. Posted By: PurpleBubba

I think a lot of people who voted were not basing their votes on the pictures but rather what they prefer the actress to have. They could have been basing it on memories of how their hair looked in movies, magazines, etc. You also probably have a lot of people choosing long or short for all of them and not even paying attention to who the person is or how their hair looks. All I'm going to say for my votes is I did not choose all long or all short for mine. |
