Brush the side of your hair at an angle, and dont forget it make take a week or two to train them, once they are trained you will see them than you can add the pomade, Gel, sprays or whatever you want to use to it. Just brush and use stuff like blue magic, pink moisturizer or something like that and brush it all in and you do this everyday and your waves will be shinning, add some pomade or gel once you see that your waves are set in. Alright G, thought I come in and add my two cents you do that you will get waves on the side, and one more thing make sure your hair is a certian length before giving up on your sides, because maybe your hair on the side is to short, but still brush it so it can be trained.
