I am having alot of trouble with my current shrinkie install. I used prebonded hair form rk and it looks awful. I have never had install look like this!   Here's some pics:  http://www.tinypic.com/view/?pic=mkvl0m - http://www.tinypic.com/view/?pic=mkvl0m        http://www.tinypic.com/view/?pic=mkvkmq - http://www.tinypic.com/view/?pic=mkvkmq

Belive it or not this is 6 rows of shrinkies, right next together. I dont know what the problem is. I was thinking that mabe I just don't have enough hair for strand by strand to look full, but what weft method (besides sew-in) id save for bleached thin hair?

I think you just need to add more rows in the back.  When I do a full head, I have never counted the rows, but I'm sure it's more than 6.

Are you skipping space between the rows?

When I want a full look on someone who has thinner hair, I start as low on the nape as we can get away with, and go as high on the head as we can get away with, no skipped spaces.

I agree.  I just did shrinkies in the front of my head this weekend, and I have more than six rows just on either side.  I think you will need like 150-200 strands to do a whole head.  I can't skip rows either, because it winds up too straggly.  When I had regular fusions, there were many, many rows in my head then too.  You can always wash your hair again, and go between the rows and fill in with more shrinkies.

Yeah, also, one time I did shrinkies, it looked similar to that, I doubled up
the strands, and it looked alot fuller. I don't know if the strands are thin,
but if they are that may help. Because I felt like I had put TONS of
shrinkies in, (majority of my hair was in the shrinkies) and it was still thin.

thanx for the advice! I have decided to take this shi@ out and install fusion again! I know that fusion has a bad rep but I have never had any problems with it!

Fab...how many strands did you install? I wouldnt think the shrinkie method itself would be the problem. If you installed the same amount of extension hair with shrinkies as you normally use for fusion the end result should look the same.....right??

Kristin - do you do your own installs?  How many strands do you do?  I did my last install and the back was tough...does it get easier with mirrors and practice etc???  Is fusion easier than shrinkies to do on yourself?

Tangles...do you have Lush or RK for sale in #613? If its Lush I might be interested.
