My hair is texturized, and I would like to get it straightened at the salon.

My stylist blow drys and flat irons my hair when I get it done.

I'm thinking of having it done once a month by her and wearing it straight for two weeks, and then wearing it like I normally do for two weeks.

So, for two weeks I won't be able to wash it, along with the heat once a month.

Will this damage my hair.

I don't think heat once a month will damage you hair just rember to protect it and keep giving your hair that TLC.

I don't think heat once a month is too much at all.  Just use a heat protectant.  I use heat twice a month.
