| Im new to the whole wave thing and ive been wantin to get them for a while..i recently bought a few things that people had reccommended (brushes, pink lotion, pomade, ect) I also bought both a durag and a wave cap. I wanted to know peoples opinions on which one gave better results or comfort..just wonderin |

| To me they both give great results and, as far as comfort is concerned you wold have to wear both and make your decision this would apply to results also. Different things work for different ppl. |

With a du-rag you can set your tightness with the knot for your comfort or if your a sound sleeper (u dont move around when you sleep) and you dont like the lines the du-rag gives you wave cap is beter When i first started out i used wave-cap under my du-rag cause my hair was nappy but when i trained it..it became softso now i just durag but its up to you Also... a topic was already made about this we shoud make a page of all the topics already made so we dont waste time and have room for fresh and new topic |

DURAG KEEPS UR HAIR STILL UNLIKE A WAVES CAP WHICH SLIDES OFF AND MOVES AROUND. MY WAVES FADED EVERYTIME I USED A WAVES CAP. |

How do you all take care of your durags, or wave caps? Do you just buy a new one after a week or so? Or wash it after a certain amount of days? |

I have about 2 weeks worth of durags so I might wear it a couple times and throw it in with the laundry since i wash clothes every 2 weeks.Wave caps I just wash in the sink with some shampoo but I always rinse them before I put them on so they arent usually that dirty. I only buy new durags to replace 1 i might have thrown out if it looked extremely worn, I buy wave caps when mine arent tight nemore. |

Alright thanks! Right now I have about 3 wave caps and 1 durag. Which do you all think I should stock up more on, durags or wcaps? I just started trying to get waves, and I've been wearing wave caps to sleep. I'm using the DREAM brand, and it hugs pretty good while I sleep. ------------- Readers are many, thinkers are rare. |

| I wear a wave cap and du-rag together, best of both worlds. plus the wave cap keeps lines off my forehaed. I only buy extra wave caps cause my du-rag never really touches my hair. |

| man look the best thing to do is on your wave cap then the du rag it will hold and lay your hair down very very very well. DONT put du rag then wave cap |

spandex cap with spartan durag over and cuz of it's thick strap you dont get lines over your forhead and wash an just durag to sleep. wash durag all of them after use or at least once a week
