Hello ladies!! I am thinking about incorporating hot oil treatments into my hair regimen. I want to do one this week because my hair is still dry although I moisturize twice a day. I just washed my hair today and wondered would it be okay to deep condition today and to hot oil later in the week or do you all think this is way to much moisture in one week? I deep condition every week and my last deep condition was Friday.

You can  do a hot oil treatment now and deep condition later...just make sure to pay attention to how your hair responds. If you like it then continue to do it.

I heard that oil isn't moisture. You use it to lock in moisture.

no i dont think its too much.

i usually do mine on the same day.  on wash days i do: a hot oil treatment (actually half oil half conditioner), wash, then deep condition.  i'm natural though...dont know if that makes a difference...but it works just fine for me.
