I don't know if this has already been discussed, but I loved some of the http://editorial.gettyimages.com/source/search/product.aspx?p=3&e=56546985&pg=1&am=-1 - celeb styles at the SAGs :

Eva Longoria threw me at first with the shorter hair, but she really looked adorable.

Nicolette Sheridan looked like a knockout with her hair down, I thought.

Marcia Cross looked gawgeous in every way.

Terri Hatcher looked nice with the softer waves (better than at the GG, in my opinion).

Hilary Swank's ponytail was cute, as was Charlize Theron's.

Not crazy about this blonde hue on Reese Witherspoon. I actually think she looked better with the chocolate shade she wore in the movie. Portia DeRossi and Sandra Bullock aren't doing it for me lately, either.

A good night for hair overall, though.

:)

It's a pity that Charliza Theron's real hair never seems to get beyond wispy shoulder length.

Eva's hair was pinned under.  I saw in interview on Entertainment Tonight.  But they did ask her if she would ever go that short and she said she definately would.

Pinned under? Interesting. I hadn't realized. I just figured she took out her extensions (they looked *very* long at the Golden Globes).

It's true--Theron seems to have very thin, fine hair (I can relate). I recall that way back when (when she was a model, not a superstar), she had a really short cut that looked great, as well as a sort of elongated bob with bangs that was very pretty, too. (Helps to have an amazing face....)

I thought Eva's 'do was a cut, whoever pinned it deserves kudos. Her
wavy bob was the best style of the night, I thought, and among the
few styles glamorous enough to fit the occasion. Others seemed to
range from OK-but-not-amazing (Reese) to oddly-disheveled (Sandra
Bullock).

And as you know, ponytails are apparently the new "thing" in
Hollywood glam. I don't get this. Yes, a ponytail can look sexy and
fun on a Saturday afternoon at the ballpark, but I don't think it works
in a formal occasion, especially if the ponytail is fake (Mariska
Hargitay).

I look at it this way: the dress says, I want to look glamrous! The
makeup says, I want to look beautiful! The jewelry says, I want to
look dazzling! The hair says, I just finished 45 minutes on the
Stairmaster! And by the way, what do you think of my fabulous dark
roots?

I wasn't born yet, but I still miss the days when women wore
glamorous hair at glamorous occasions to match the rest of their
glamorous selves...

HILARIOUS!!!  I've often thought that same thing myself!!!

Eva's style looked very good on her, I think. I'd prefer her hair longer, but she'd probably still look fine short. Hilary Swank's haircut is *extremely* disappointing to see, every bit as much as Liv Tyler's a few months ago, given how riveting their hair had looked lately. These two are among those celebs whose beauty increases exponentially with very long hair, methinks.

Now, Charlize Theron is one of the very few women who actually look better, or as good, with a short cut, IMO. I've yet to see anyone look better with a cropped cut than Charlize. Best, Bob

Liv Tyler? Don't think she's had any haircut to speak of for a long time!

Bleh, stars are getting too lazy with their hair-- either they throw it in a ponytail, or just leave it down and plain :-P .  I mean, they're awards, they're supposed to be glam!  Put some effort into it!

Eva Longoria is always beautiful, but the "brunette Marilyn" thing she had going on was even hotter than normal ^_^ .  Maybe the other celebs can take a cue from her on how to look properly formal for awards.

Do you guys ever notice how Marcia Cross' hair always seems to get longer at awards shows? Not that I'm complaining!

I love Portia DeRossi's hair, but what happened to her face?

Kramer thanks for the last two links. I like Cross's hair looks. Nice very nice. Not sure what was up with Portia maybe a neck cramp?
