If I purchased 4 packs of ez tips (100 tips) and split the strand to make 2 strands(200 total), would there be enough hair for a full install. Or would the strands be to thin?

I am going to get the sample pack to try it out, but was just curious if any one tried this. Thanks

depends on what a full install means to you.  If your just going for thickness then 100 strands will be fine, but there is no need to split them, all that would do is just add bulk to your scalp area by way of needing more shrinkies/microlinks, best to not split the strand at all.

If you need a full head to add length as well as thickness, most people use between 250 - 300 full sized tips.  Its not about how many tips as much as the ounces of hair itself.  4 oz is 4 oz whether it comes in 250 tips or 500

Personally the strands are just the right size anyway, splitting them would make them too thin, if however you bought the ez fusion, you would be able to split them to make two strands out of one because these are double the size of the ez strands x

So I am assuming the nail tip (fusion tip) is a fuller strand?  does anyone know how many packs of nail tip elite would make 4 oz?

The EZ tips from Extensions Plus are already on the 'thin' side as far as strand size goes. I don't think dividing them would be a good idea.
