          | I would like to slick down my edges temporarily but I'm guessing that's
a no-no since I'm getting my touch-up soon.  How do you make your
hair presentable before a touch-up when you have a good amount of new
growth?  What about if you sweat a lot, say from exercise? |

          | I would suggest doing conwashes if you sweat alot when exercising that will get rid of the sweat but keep the hair moisturized. Others suggested Fantasia Sparklites gel and that has been helping me lay out my baby hair. To slick down all over I would look at the tutorial from Nelle11236 from Black beauty, black hair forum.

          | Also I do alot of deep conditioning (Miss Keys 10 en 1) to help soften the new growth. |

          | But is it wise to put gel on my edges when I'll be getting a touch-up
in a few days?  Is Co washing a good idea right before a relaxer?
ETA(edited to add):I already have products that I use to slick down my
edges.  I'm just worried that it will effect how fast the relaxer
"takes".
