A pre poo is something you do before you shamppoo. Like some people rinse there hair with coconut milk and then shampoo. A Cowash is a condition wash. This basically means skip shampooing.

So when you co wash do you put the conditioner on dry hair or do you wet it first then apply conditioner?

Wet it first just like you normally wash your hair.

It works really well.  It really leaves my hair nice and soft.

for my pre-poo, i use castor oil on my dry hair and put on a thin plastic cap and leave it on overnite or apply prior to shampoo and sit under the dryer for a half hour then poo as you usually do .

I love pre-poos...I make my own mixture of a bunch of oils like vitamin e, shea butter, and almond oil and sit under the dryer for 20 min. then wash it out
