I just wanted to let everyone know how pleased I have been with the customer service that I have been receiving from Jet Set extensions.

I have ordered from them 3 times now, and each time there has been great email communication about my order, including expected arrival.

They answer email usually within just a few hours.

I emailed them tonight inquiring about the tone of one of their colors.  As most of you know, ashy colors are hard to come by in extensions.  I am looking for an ashy 18/22.  I know hisandher sells an ashy 18/22, but their hair has sucked lately, so I don't want to order from them.

Anyway, I obviously don't have their color ring (but I will be buying it soon!) so they sent me an email saying that they are sending me a sample of their 18/22 so I can judge for myself if it's the proper tone for my needs.  No other extension company has been so generous with samples.

As we all know, customer service can make or break a business (think AD....) and I think Jet Set will soon become a top seller if they continue to run their business this way.  I'm impressed, and it takes a lot to impress me!

hey metal -

i totally agree there - i liked the way after your order is placed they specifically ask : if what you've ordered isn't in stock would you prefer a)same color, longer b) different weft c) us to contact you...etc etc. so much easier. good grief after i ordered from ebonyline one time it was like - i ordered and paid, got an email 24 hrs later saying we're out of that color, i emailed back immediately and requested the next shade, a day later they emailed back they didn't have that in the same texture, etc etc. no phone number and it was like chinese water torture.

i have to say for customer service for me, though, nobody beats amm. she tells it like it is, IMHO.

hmm, it says on their site that their hair is cuticle hair. I saw in the other
thread that it was being debated whether this might be Bohyme under a
different name, but Bohyme has a stripped cuticle, is that right?
I wonder what 'cuticle hair' means in this case. Has anyone asked them?

ahh yes dunebug - we've gone around before with this topic of bohyme and cuticles...some say it's removed, some say it's "mostly" removed or processed to decrease tangling, and amanda's UK bohyme is definitely bohyme with full cuticles...

that's how i remember the debate anyhoo ..

p.s. i'll just add in regards to jet set's service that i just received an email saying my order had shipped and that they were out of my color in 12" so they replaced it with 18" for the same price? wow.

Hmm well I asked them if they shipped to the UK and they didn't even bother to respond.  They could at least have said no!

Based on the current responses on this board and how many people are ordering hair from them, maybe they will begin international shipping...keeping my fingers crossed for ya!  They are very quick to respond regarding questions about their products and orders that have been shipped.  Hope you get a positive response soon.

I just got the color ring on Tuesday and they sent a sample weft along with it.  I just orderd a weft in the bodywave #4M30 myself to install with Pro-Tac and am excited and nervous to try it out, will be my first time installing wefts!

Hmm, well I wonder if I would be better off with your UK Bohyme then
Amanda. i know that the Bohyme I bought over here definately said on the
package that the cuticle was stripped. I forget the exact wording, but that is
what it boiled down to, because I remember wondering why they bothered
aligning the cuticles in the first place if they were going to strip them
anyway.
According to the jet set site it says the cuticles are intact, and aligned.
I think I will definately get some of your UK Bohyme Amanda and see how it
compares since I've been having such bad luck with the US version.

I'm going to email them the link to this thread.  Hopefully they will understand the importance of shipping internationally.

Ok guys, I emailed Jet Set and referred them to this thread and made the suggestion that they offer international selling.  Here's the response they gave me:

Hi Lisa,
We thought for a moment before emailing to you and sending this email in gratitude.
We really appreciate your advise and all the admiration on the board.
Through your advise, we consider the international shipping in all its aspects and we promise to keep up our best.

We are sending you words of thanks again and have a wonderful day.

I think if vendors are aware of the power forums have, such as this one has, they will try harder to provide good service and products.  It's a win-win situation for everyone!

I agree totally with the ease of ordering and the customer service.  They were out of my length and sent me the next longer for the same price.  So far I am loving this hair.  I hate to get too excited...I really like the Lush the first few days and then was more disappointed than I have ever been with any HH. I will definitely be reordering from them....you get a discount towards your next order.  I think this hair feels different than Bohyme...finer and silkier.  The colors aren't an exact match with that brand either.  I'm really glad I found them!

i actually ordered 2 different colors in 12" and they sent both in 14" for the 12" price...saving me $20 right there..

i agree delin -- i did a side by side bohyme/jet set feel test and (before washing either) my jet set is finer and silkier with a nice sheen.

how long have you been wearing the jet set delin?
