Hi im new to this forum. Well i always get my hair cut by my aunt, she has her own shop. But i have a birthday party on sat, so i decide to go get my hair cut at the local shop since i cant make it to my aunt in time. I told the barber to cut it three on top and two on the side, and he f**king shaved my head!!! I was like what the f**k are you doing, but realizing theres nothing i can do about it i told him to finish it. Then i said no way i'll pay for the haircut, he said he'll call the cops if i walk out. I cursed in his face and went home. Any ways my hair is horribblle, i' was so angry i cried, which is the first time i did in years. I still have the birthday in two days. Is there anyways to make my hair grow faster any product or anything? Im going to face social humiliation at school. Im thinking of getting some beanies and hooded sweaters to cover it up at schoool. Please if you know anyways to help my hair grow faster, or what is the best way to cover it up helpppppppp me. Heres a pic of how my hair usually looks like, simple spiky cut. I'm sorry this happened to you, it really sucks when they do something
to you to change your appearance in a way you didn't want. However, it doesn't look THAT short, nor does it look bad. I think the way you act will make all the difference in whether you can pull it off or not. If you act self confident and like you did it on purpose because you wanted to try something new, (and tell anyone who picks on you that they're a jerk and to shove off), it doesn't have to be humiliating. I think it looks fine also! I would follow with what Susan said! But I do know how you feel though! Good luck to you! A hooded jacket is a good idea. Also try different hats and things. I can't see the photo of your old hair, but your new hair looks good. Try not to be depressed, your hair will grow faster than you think and I'm sure you'll have an awesome time at the birthday party anyway: enjoy! p.s. it doesn't look like your head is shaved? It's probably just a bit of a shock to see your hair shorter: you'll get used to it and it will grow so don't worry. ------------- Give a man a fire and he's warm for a day, but set fire to him and he's warm for the rest of his life. |

If you let people know it bothers you, they could use it to tease you. But so long as you act like everything is fine, and that's what you meant to do anyway, I don't think anyone will say anything negative about it. ------------- More awesome than a manatee! |

I don't think it looks bad either - actually better. If you said 3 on top and 2 on the sides - that looks like the blade length to me. |

your hair does look good, but can I just say I have had guys come into my salon and ask for a two at back and sides and three on top , and honestly that is how short it is. you would have been better to ask him to do a 2 at back and sides and just cut the top with siccors this would have left you length on top. Even better take a pic with you , or better still stick with your aunt. karen ------------- karen sanderson |

Damn man! To me it looks like he just gave you a brush cut with a #1 guard...1/8" long. That's just crazy that some stylist has no F'in clue! There's not much you can do your hair grows 1/2" per month I think it will take you about 3 months to grow that top back to it's length before it was cut and the sides and back a month or so. I'd be looking for a better stylist and someone you can trust. Not that butcher.
