Goto Cosmetology School! Playing around with haircolors when you don't know the laws of haircoloring and underlying pigments in the hair and how to compensate those to remove brassiness is asking for trouble. Professional products vs the box retail stuff makes all the difference in the world.

Sorry but I'm not writing a 15 page informational about haircoloring for you.

Go to the library and check out book on hair dyeing and hair coloring.  Milady puts out quite a few books.  Here's a couple to get you started.
