I have naturally curly hair, very thick, often very frizzy, and I'm trying to find a good gel/mousse/styling cream of some form to use on it, that will define my curls and keep the frizz AWAY. If anyone knows of anything, it would be much appreciated.

Also, I'm looking for something that will turn my curls into waves, and still keep the frizz away.

Hello Lainee!  Your hair sounds very similar to yours.  I used to be in the same position as you.  I found CURLS.  Their products define my hair.  After using it, I could really see the difference in my definition.  I prefer their curl enhancing moisturizer and their other leave in conditioners.  I buy it from http://www.curls.biz - www.curls.biz       It might be what you need!

Hi Lainee  Other potential curl-enhancers include:

  1. LOTS of extra conditioner (conditioner 1, rinse, conditioner 2, rinse...) I find that my curls and waves are extra-defined when I use Suave Naturals or other cheap conditioners before my final one.
  2. Leave-in treatments with jojoba or sweet almond oil
  3. Not brushing or combing, opting to use only your fingers for detangling curly hair.
  4. Not blow drying
