I am about to do a second install with pro tac and I was wondering if it would be better to cut the pro tac into 2'' lengths instead of one long row across the back, would this be more flexible for tying up etc.

Has anyone tried this?

Haven't tried it but it sounds like a good plan to me

remember though, it also means yu have more corners which can be upturned and peeled which means a greater risk of slippage

I split them up last install I had and so far so good. One week anyway. I didn't use the lg to seal the corners though because I think the remover is evil. I have a tendecy to pull my hair in front of my shoulders and this way I have less visibility.

I'm planning to break my wefts up into back and side pieces with my next
install as well. Other than the very top pieces that I didn't sandwich, I
haven't had a problem with the ends lifting at all. I feel like the hair will
be less flat around my head with shorter wefts that can move up and
down more easily. Also, I've found the long horseshoe-shaped wefts to
feel a bit tight and pull around my head at times. It's a thousand times
more comfortable than wearing a wig, but I think having looser wefts will
be even more comfortable.
