Hello, Does anyone have experience having extensions (human) in London? I'm trying to find somewhere but can't choose between them. I've heard Connect in Chalk farm is good & lucinda ellery has anyone else been to either of them?? Thankyou fifi x

I used to go to Lucinda Ellory many years ago and she is very good.

Connect Hair Systems gets lots of great feedback; I have a few friends who go there and they always say that the product is excellent, really long-lasting, but also that the customer service and level of expertise in the salon is just amazing.  I think that Connect must attract the best quality of staff.

If you live near Camden you could always pop over there and have a look for yourself.

Good luck with it.

Oh Thanks "trophywife" that's good to know! In your experience is connect system better than racoon? I'm worried about damaging my hair in the long run. fifi x

I've never had extensions; I did consider them briefly a short while ago, though (decided against it because of a combination of two factors: the potential damage and also the fact that my own hair grows out pretty quickly by itself).

I think that all kinds will cause some damage, it's unavoidable no matter how well they're put in, taken out and cared for.  Maybe you should call up a few salons or go in to chat to them about the whole process before committing.

Connect in Chalk farm or Racoon?

I love both.  They both have different grades of human hair but their top grades are excellent.  Also both have got a few celeb clients under their wings...Racoon having Sharon Osbourne just to name one and Connect having Victoria Beckham.

BEWARE though as i did a search on the web for Connect in Chalk farm and got another company (with absolutely no connection to the origional, reputable Connect) although had an almost identical name and had access to all the web domains in that name, and ordered from the small company thinking it was them and got cheap crappy hair, imo, that was described as being superior.  Other than being conned their, i had an absolute nightmare in returning the hair to them.....

Anyway just beware as a successful company like Connect in chalk farm will obviously have small copy cat companys obviously relying on Connects reputation to give their little business a boost.  Connect in Chalk farm also have no website!! You can contact them by telephone on....

CONNECT HAIR SYSTEMS

P.S. THEY ONLY HAVE ONE BRANCH AND THIS IS CHALK FARM LONDON.

Hope this info helps save you wasting any money,
