hi ive decided to have my hair all cut off just wondering whether u peeps on here could give me some advice i have a few pics to help you im up for all ideas!!

I like the colour of your hair in your third picture. I'd wholeheartedly agree that the second style suggested would look fantastic and is the best of the three suggestions. My only thought would be to take the fringe and the nape area slightly shorter - the fringe to show off you eyes (it looks lik it would flop straight over iyour face in the photo) and the nape by another inch create a better balance ------------- Its your hair, your choice and your decision |

I like the first and second pics all right. The only thing I'm not fond of on the second is that it comes off a little mullet-y. . . but that might just be the way they have it styled there, I dunno. ------------- More awesome than a manatee! |

I like highlights that are either very natural, like you barely even notice them, or very unnatural, like blue or something ^_^ . But that's just me. I'm an odd one ^_^ . If you're uncertain, don't go really short all at once-- it's easy to freak out (both yourself and those around you) if you make a very drastic change. ------------- More awesome than a manatee! |

I couldn't agree more with you Trophywife, Natasha Kaplinsky has had the same awful pseduo mullet for years, with the same blonde highlights - its so eighties. Oh for a good stylist (or even a pretty poor one) and a pair of scissors to get their hands on her would surely result in an improvement. Angelbabes - If your unsure how short to go - think whether you are normally the "adveturous jump in with both feet" type (go for the cropped look) or "a more conservative measured type" (in which case go short). Also if you have ever had short hair in the past and have some old photos, looking at them may give you some thoughts as to what you definitely do want and what you don't, as both are equally important. ------------- Its your hair, your choice and your decision |

Keep your bangs and get something that you can play around with. So that you can curl it or spike it or do whatever to it easily. Your base color is nice, don't change it...just get highlights or something. |

Well it looks like virtually all your hair is coming off at the weekend. If it looks half as good as the picture you will look absolutely stunning The only bit of advice regarding going this short is you may need to be very insistent with your stylist given the magnitude of the change. From looking at the sim picture I'd say the back would be somewhere about 3/4" long at the bottom of the nape and probably increasing to 1.5" at the top of your ear level. This may sound daft but one piece of advice that a hairdresser I once knew used to give was to put your hair up (e.g a ponytail or similar) on the morning of the cut such that you get accustomed to the look of short hair before it is cut. Another thought I'd heard was to make sure you wear an outfit that makes you feel comfortable and special on the day - so that you walk out of the salon feeling good.

hi im so sorry i havent been on
the deed has not been done my partner was rushed into hospital late on friday night with apendisitus so he has had to have surgery. im leaving home shortly to go to visit him again so i have had to re schedule for next saturday now sorry xx ------------- god help me sort my hair out!!! |

Hey, I hope he's okay. Appendicitis is very painful, but if he's a healthy person otherwise, he'll recover really quickly and have no after-effects. Take care, both of you. I still think the pixie type cut looks the best of the sims that have been done. There is just something about having your hair cut around your ears that seems to suit you. Of the two bob cuts I prefer the shorter one - the longer bob doesn't seem to be quite right - probably two much contrast between the length at the front and the shaved nape for my taste. ------------- Its your hair, your choice and your decision |

Angle, My view on this is yes a very short cut. i feel that you should have the sides and back taperd very short. Having the back and sides start with a # 2 bade then up near the top have them leave about 1-1/2 inches in lenght. This also should be the lenght on top. Then they should use Texture shears and use them across the top and sides so the hair has lots of lift. Or the other style should be cut short like Martina McBride [country singer] when her hair was short. This type is a bit longer in the back but the bangs are cut like micro bangs with the top being spikey but the hole cut looks Shaggey. I wish i knew how to post a picture!!!! Mike |

| I think the angled bob still. With that cut u still have some lenght, but get the really short too with the clipper cut nape ( i go a #2 about mid ear lenght in the back). Start with the bob you could always go back and get the pixie later. |

| Just wanted to wish you all the best for the weekend. With regard, to what style you eventually choose, I'm sure you'll choose the right one for you. But, for what my simple opinion is worth, it is evident that the short pixie will look absloutely stunning on you. It will look smart, sassy and fun; it will be dead easy and with the summer coming (I pray) will be nice and cool. On the basis of "in for a penny in for a pound", it's a chance for you to enjoy a big change experience whilst being safe in the knowledge (thanks to the amazing digital makeover pic) that you will look wonderful. just remember: It's only hair! And whatever you choose, be sure to be very firm about it. The last couple of times I've gotten my hair cut really short, I started with it really long. Last time I had hair down to my ass and wanted it pizie-short, the stylist didn't believe me and tried to only cut it to my chin. I had to repeatedly insist, "No no no, I always grow my hair out really really long, and then cut it really short. I know what I'm doing, trust me." |
