I decided last week that I was fed up with my hair and I took it upon myself to chemically straighten my hair. Having never done it before it turned out a total disaster, it looked like a toilet brush and a brillo pad. All the ends went frizzy it was horrendous.  In the end I went to the hairdressers and had it cut.  Its a lot better but still a little frizzy on the ends due to me over processing it.

I decided to let my partner install my hair extensions with Pro Tac and here is the end result, he has done a good job, (I think so anyway.) I just need to get some layers cut in it now at the front and back.  This Pro tac is really easy to use.

I admire all you who can do you own hair I have never been able to install my own hair extensions.  By the way my partner is an Upholsterer. Please excuse my pyjamas. lol

it looks like some layers and blending would fix it right up! The color match is excellent! What kind of hair did you use? Isnt the pro-tac awesome? So easy!

Absolutely awesome, this Pro-tac is miracle tape. I loved working with it and will continue to do so. I like the long straight look you have. I bought Bohyme with a body wave to it which made the 18" hair more like 14 inches, so next time Im going to get 2 wefts of straight.

I used Sensual hair and the pro-tac is so easy to use you cant feel it in your hair.  Will see how it goes.

Yes my hair does need some blending and a few layers putting in but the hairdresser will have to do that as I have no idea how to do that.

hey - that looks really great! i agree, color is a match which is the hardest part...after that it's gravy.. if you have a hairdresser, great..if you are feeling adventurous do a search here and you'll see plenty of people have described how they layer their own extensions (mostly with razors)..

great job!

sassyhair...my natural hair is pretty much fried.(From the chemical processes....I just HAVE to be blonde  ) My installs looks very similar to yours before cutting and layers. I dont like to cut mine until after I wash for the first time. Sometimes Ive even went nearly a week before getting to the cut. Ive found the perfect solution is loose curls! It helps hide and blend until you get a chance to get it layered!

My own hair is naturally curly and I usually have bodywave installed and I could get away with not having to cut it.  I will probably go to the hairdressers though first thing tomorrow.

Cheers

I used 613/27.  I have my hair coloured in these colours at the hairdressers.  If I am not wearing hair extensions I wear different hair peices.  I love these colours.
