It does not say on them? I am referring to the semi perm colors (which are really a demi-perm). Most of Sallys minus the Loreal Color Gems also do not tell you the level of developer and I want to know. Thanks!

I think it's usually about 10 vol. for a demi. Semi perm aren't supposed to have a developer included.

Oh, you can always call the 800 number and ask the company.  L'Oreal is usually labeled on the bottle inside the box.

I use the clairol demi-permanent color, but it doesn't use the same type of developer that permanent color uses--it requires a "color prompter" instead, but I don't know the volume level.

Meli, which Clairol Demi color did you use to achieve the ash blonde you wanted?

Thank U. Still do not know if I should use Loreal Colorgem, didn;t you say Rebekah theirs pull too much red? Same for the Loreal colorspa? WIsh their devleopers were less high. Then there is CLairol Natural Instincts but which color to use? I was thinking in the meantime some clairol jazzing but not sure that color there too. gotta remove some red without turning green or dk brown or black. Ugh.
