I've posted this in another thread but, I was wondering if I flat ironed my hair and got it just the way I wanted it and then put relaxer on (with my hair dry and clean and straight) it would I have a better chance at getting straight hair? Has anyone ever tried this before and if so did you get better results?

DO NOT DO THAT!. The only straightening system designed for that is thermal reconditioning. Other relaxers will severely damage your hair if you use that technique. What type of hair do you have? If you use the right relaxer and technique you won't need to flat iron your hair to get the desired results.
