(meaning coat hair w/ olive oil, baggy,  and sit under the dryer for 10 minutes) and relax the next day? Replies: Posted By: Jamgurl Date Posted: March 31 2006 at 10:25am I used to do this sometimes, but not specifically before I go to get a relaxer...so I'm not sure if its good or bad to do it in preparation for a relaxer. The times I did it without washing first, I got good results....but dotn do it when your hair is too dirty or has too much product in it. Try it like maybe three to four days after you've washed.
