I'm looking for advice on how to achieve this hairstyle. Specifically, how it is styled (what product would be good to use, and does it require blow dry, etc.). My hair is straight and on the fine side.

That looks pretty short to me.  Probably just run a bit of wax through really short choppy layers and go.
