does anyone know of a home highlighting kits that consists of foils?

i did a strand test on jerome russel powder bleach mixed with 40 vol peroxide and the strand turned out a yellow-y colour but considering i'm planning to dye over that with a dark blonde dye..all should go well.

the only problem is, that oon the packet it stated under the cautions. only to use non metallic mixing and application tools.

i guess this rules out tin foil. and i dont want to bleach all of my hair because it will just end up dry, and probably a disaster since my mum said she's not getting involved :)

so ...i basicly need a home foils kit or something.

Aluminum foil that you can buy in the big packages at the grocery store is fin.  I've used it before to apply highlights with no problems.

Why are you using 40 vol.?  20 vol. with bleach should get you there, however, it make take more time.  40 vol. is much more damaging than 20.
