I think frizzy hereditory. I think you both get frizz because of the products you use of the way you handle your hair. Curly hair is usually frizzy because it's dry. maybe you should ask your mom what she does to difrizz her hair.

I agree with deexox that curly hair is frizzy because its dry...do you use a leave-in con daily? What helped me is applying a leave-in con(NTM or salerm21)and sealing it with a light oil(WGO or Parnevu t-tree oil).

Yes every freaking day right now i use infusium 23 i use to use thermasilk. my mom says she just puts "grease on it" she has type 3b hair though me and her two totally different hair types(try telling your mom that when she insisit that it can be time to get a relaxer because it isnt time for her ~roll eyes~) anyway i know the stuff she uses has mineral oil and petroleum in it so im gonna stay away from that.....how about a shine serum like brilliant brunette or "satin shine creeme by john fredia?

Infusium 23 is a protein treatment that helps repair the hair; but too much protein can lead to dry, brittle hair. Try a creamy leave in like NTM it has water and oils that help rehydrate (sp?) the hair. John Frieda has some nice hair products the one I like for defrizzing is Secret Weapon flawless finishing creme but I don't know if they still carry this. A serum would also be good because it coats the hair helping to smooth the cuticle.
