Heck no!!!

It may be harder for some to get shine, but as you well know not impossible. You mean to tell me that you've never seen shine on a.a. women? I'm a professional and I KNOW how to make hair SHINE...like I said MAKE. I do admit some people give me a harder time than others but since I know how to "communicate" with hair, I can make it do what I want it to. Honestly it has more to do with the products you use then the routine you follow. I've written an ebook that discusses this in depth found on my site http://www.askdwayne.com - www.askdwayne.com "what your hairstylist doesn't want you to know". I'm saying that to say there is no "simple anwser" to that question. I just can't say go get this and you'll get your results. You may want to seriously look at other products and switching up your routine. Hope that somewhat helps

I think curly hair has less shine than straight hair
and kinky less shine than cury though any hair can
be made shiny by using serums or waxes or oils,,
my natural texture is terribly frizzy and curly 3b but it
still has some degree of natural shine,, i think the
main reason AA hair may not shine is becuz of a lack
of a natural oil and the very structure of the hair may
not allow for a shine unless done artirficially,, not
sure what it is about the structure though if thats tru...

Yes that is my name. You are very observant. Are you saying you can't get it straight or are you saying that once it gets straight you can't keep it  straight? If you need help getting it straight I can give you good advice, if you can't keep it straight, I can recommend products for you to use, but once you use them you can't go to the gym, or the club and expect to keep it straight!!!
