Hi everyone. :)  I've searched the forums, but I don't think this has been posted yet. I'm just wondering...what is the best heat protector to use when straightening?

I used to use Fantasia Heat Protector Mist (not the serum) and it was AMAZING!!!  But, I can't find it anywhere in Toronto anymore. :(  So I wondering...whats the next best thing?

I used a heat protector from Joico but it left my hair stiff and really greasy.  Is there anything that leaves your hair as soft and naturally shiny as Fantasia's Heat Protector?

Thanks in advance. :)

I was gonna scream Fantasis spray as my sugges
tion but then i read that you've used it,, its so so
good!!, i have used a number of protectants and the
one that comes closest to Fantasia mist is from
Sally beauty called Turn up the Heat( itsa mist also),
tho it doesnt work as well as Fantasia its very close,,
i dont know whether u can find that in Canada
though,, have u tried looking online for the
Fantasia??

I've tried looking online to order Fantasia Heat Protector, but no luck. I only find the serum and the clear one. And none of the places ship to Canada anyways. :(:(:(

I've looked for Sally's and Beyond the Zone, but I can't find anything here. Is there like, a good heat protector that they would sell at Walmart or any drug store? Like, John Freida or Thermasilk?

I need to do my hair pronto! lol

aaaw girl i understand your struggle,, heat protector
is very important!! I checked out one a while back
from V05 ,, its in a bright red bottle( has good
ingredients but its for wet hair) and theres also
L'oreal hot straight,, ( the spray has alcohol in it) but
the cream one doesnt though i didnt find this great at
all lol,, these are available in the drugstore,, im
racking my brain here,, i believe theres one by John
Frieda too ,, his products have always been good to
my hair,, just have a look around,, i think the main
ingredient in these heat protectors is silicones cuz
i've noticed they all contain silicones anyway they
need to get those products over in Canada!!!
BTW i like ur name , perfect is boring, my philosphy
is normal is boring since im a bit kooko

I just got the Tresseme heat protector and I like it but I've only used it on a small section of hair.  It's not as oily as Beyond the Zone or Fantasia is for me.  It gives a more fluffy feel to the hair.  I might start using this one when I want to switch up for a little different look.  This one can be used on wet or dry hair.

Hey, PerfectIsBoring,

go to http://www.walgreens.com - www.walgreens.com  and see if you can find it there. If so, I think you can order from their site (but I'm not exactly sure, but it's worth trying!)
