Heya Guys, i Currently have Dark Brown (was black) dyed hair hair semi permanent, the Dye never washed out but is very gradually fading. I wanted to go the complete opposite to what i am now but keep my hair the same length. I'm looking to achieve this style:

^^ that is the exact color i am after in that last picture. My Natural color is a Brown.

i was also wondering whether the color looks the same in each picture to you guys or whether it looks different because in the close up side on photo he looks slightly ginger...

any help would be amazing!

thanks:)

His hair just has full foil highlights, over a light brown base.

This look would be easy to get.I would let the semi fade the rest of the way out.You can speed up the fading by washing with dishsoap. Its very drying so make sure to use a good conditioner after.Ask for thin stranded highlights. Some like the thick stripe kind, which isnt what he has.Its the reason why most dont even realize he has highlights. It blends more natural this way.

Prices vary-You could pay anywhere from $50-$100. I know I paid $75 when I got mine. And I dont reccomend looking for a bargain salon.I beleive they could give you a great haircut, but highlights should be left to someone with more experience. And another peice of advice. If the woman looks like she should be cutting your moms hair,or has awful hair run! How the stylist looks is a good indicator of what kind of style they'll give you.It sounds crazy, but I have always found it to be true. And dont let them use a cap on you.Noone does that anymore. They should at least use foil, but never a cap.Sorry for the epic I just wrote, lol.HTH

Great advice!

And yes, I'd print this out to take to your stylist. Be careful with color printers though. You may not get the same colors as on the monitor.

The best would be to look through one of their style books for the desired result.
