Tonight, I started to take out my braids. When I took out the first one, it was soo much longer then it was before. And it was sooo soft! I let my mommy touch my hair and she was like "It's so soft and curly Khadijah, I told you that castor oil works!" Indeed it does!! I love this stuff. The only problem I have with the Castor oil is my scalp is flaky(or at least I think that's the pulprit).

Normally when I take out my braids there's breakage and shedding all over the place (on the carpet, sink, on my clothes, etc) but there was NONE what-so-ever!!!

Not only does my hair seem to respond well to oils (looooves them!) my hair has changed it's type completely (while it's wet)!! I was looking @ pictures of 4bs and I'm like "My hair doesn't look like that at all!" I can actually see my curls unless I comb them out. But now i think I'm like a 4a with a tiny bit of 3c on my hair line and nape area.

Ahh! I'm soooo happy. I suggest Castor oil AND wild growth to everyone, for tangle free, soft, longer hair <3

The castor oil I have is really sticky and gooey, but it made my hair really soft and thick feeling. After I get of the computer i'm gonna Poo my hair and deep condition it with some Castor oil...

My mommy was like "The only thing is that castor oil stinks" but I haven't smelt anything wrong, do I have the right one?? It's clear, but i read that it's called Black Castor oil .... o.0

It's called West Indian Castor oil and it's imported from Jamaica. It's says 100% and it's in a white bottle.

I'm glad you found something that works so good for you.  I like castor oil also, especially for my ends.

Ok thanks. I has seen castor oil in my local bss but it did not sound as pure as the ones used on this site. I just came back for a place called Jungle Jims that pretty much carries every type of food, oils and you name it they have it. I bought a 8oz bottle for 3.79 which is pure. I will see how I like it and if not I will go to the recommended site to buy the Jamaica brand.
