I had some extra time on my hands and decided to see just how much I was spending on hair products. For my basic hair regimen I spend $57.88. What is yours? It can also include products you have tried and or products you only had to buy once. ------------- "God makes no mistakes" he created you the way you are suppose to be. |

My texturizer is 75.00, but I only have that done twice a year. Otherwise.......shampoo and conditioner, 8.00, hair lotion 4.00, "expermimental" things 20.00. 32.00 without the texturizer. I used to be a product junkie, and I use products for a long time or until it's finished (if it isn't harmful to my hair) to try to keep from spending 72.00 on just products. ------------- Hair type: who knows? Length: 23 inches as of 3/10/06 MY HAIR IS OFFICIALLY BRA STRAP LENGTH!! Goal: Waist Length, which is only 30 inches so ADVISE ME ON HOW TO GET JUST 7 MORE INCHES OF GROWTH! |

Rounding the numbers up... $19 for my basic regimen. 7 dollars for conditioning shampoo 5 dollars for Mango Butter 3 dollars for Jojoba Oil 4 dollars for Infusium Leave In Treatment.

mine is like 10 bucks, because i'm cheap...x_X 5.00 fOR Motions shampoo 2.99 for carrot oil deep conditioner 2.00 for Castor oil... my regimine used to cost more though... ------------- Hair Type- 4a/b *transitioning front of my head* Length-ranges from 5-7 inches =) Products- Garnier Fructis S & S Poo, Lustrasilk Shea Butter Mango Conditioner and Cantu-Leave in =) |

Suave conditioner- .76 Suave 2-minute recovery- 2 or 3 dollars motions shampoo- free olive oil- .89 coconut oil- 8 --------------------- about 13 dollars and up Most of the products that I have tested, I didn't purchase. They were free samples from the companies. | Mine is pretty cheap. I have plenty of shampoo, which I bought about 2 years ago (liter size), and I lather once. I have plenty of conditioners (in fact too much). The only real cost is my touch up, which runs me about 80 bucks every 3 - 4 months. I would say I spent about $4 dollars this much. And that was because I needed a clarifying shampoo. I did buy some Shea Butter and Mango Butter Cholesterol last month. And that was about $3 for the jar. I have slowed down on my spending for real. |

It sort of acts as buffer from the stripping effects of most shampoos. It also add lubrication to the hair and helps reduce dryness and breakage of the hair. |
