i just recently went to a salon to get the redishbrown tones out of my bottem layer of hair....but they did nothing to help *put an ashy color on i guess?* and my hair is still reddish!! i mean, the top of my hair is good. the salon i went to was very high class and all pros. would a clarifyying shampoo be better? im going to a different salon at the beginning of april. i need advice! i want the color to be my natural(dark blonde) not red! please COMMENT

Is it any less red than it was before? Putting any old ash on
isn't going to do it. If they used a dark blonde, chances are
(though not 100%) that it had a violet base and that does nothing to
counter red. You need an ash with a green base. However,
your stylist should have known that and if you asked them to remove the
red and they didn't get rid of any, I would go back to them and tell
them they didn't give you what you wanted. Either they should try
again for free or refund your money.
