This is todays work, and I really dont get it.
For the first time I am pleased about the look around the face, and the colurs were blending well at the back IRL to (she wanted me to make it as light as possible), but when I saw the picture from the back, I was really dissapointed. Now the colours did not blend well at all .

Have any of you ever experienced this before? Could it be my camera, or just my own eyes that are colorblind  ..

And this is the bad colours I was talking about. Maybe I am cursed and the rest of my life my customers will only be able to show of either their back or front, but never both :

First of all, you are right the front and sides look great and blend well!  Good install!

The color of the extensions is a little off.  Perhaps if you add some strands in a color that is as dark as the darkest shade of her natural hair it would blend more seamlessly.  Or maybe go even heavier with the light blond on the top couple rows, especially in the back.

Curling the hair will also help disguise the differences for her.

There is most definately a working progress throughout your pictures in my opinion. From the first install you posted to this one I think the results are vastly improved.

I agree with sarytyr that you might want to work with the darkest colour of the clients natural hair. When I do a colour match, I always pick out the primary colour (the darkest not the one that's necessarily most visible) and use this as the main extension colour. I then pick up on natural streaks and match those accordingly.

Obviously everyone works differently but I think it's good to have an exact match to their own hair with streaks scattered throughout. Even when someone wants to go lighter I still match the darkest first then add lighter streaks.

However, I'm not exactly a die hard pro like many on the board so I'm simply offering a few words of advice from my own school of thought. I still feel awkward offering advice as I'm still learning myself.

You're doing great. Stay confident.

Edited to say: I refer to darker colours as opposed to blondes with what I said above. With lighter hair I add light extensions and occasionally a few darker blonde streaks underneath to make it look natural.

I think it looks lovely! Like everyone else is saying, vast improvement!!
Again, agreeing with the others, if you put either more of her darker
natural colors in, or put more of the lighter blonde on top, it would blend
better.

But I have had that happen to me before, in the mirror it looks perfect,
but then when i take a picture, it's completely off! I think it's something
about the flash, brighter, or something.

The front looks amazing, the back may need some minor touches, but
like they said, if she curled it, it would look amazing!!

Synne your installs are looking better everytime. I think you are definitely learning and improving on your talent. I agree with what the others say. A few more blonde on the top and a few more dark in the bottom and it will correct the color/blend. And do what sarytyr says and put some curls in and it will help disguise!

I think there is something about the flash. I recently did an install (thats on my site-Hannah if anyones interested lol) and the pictures came up really weirdly! Her hair really looked so lovely but the photo made it look really patchy! It's not good when you're putting your before and after pics up...

looking much better- i think adding more hair underneath would also make it look thicker too- i personally would alternate the two colors underneath- blonde and the darker brown.

also another trick is to flat iron all the hair once its done, before u blend and cut, it helps to marry the hair together.

Synne - I agree with Sammy...make sure you have the darker color "pull through" down the length to blend the hair.  You are doing fabulously!  I really applaud your willingness to put your work out here, "into the fire" so-to-speak...lol.  No matter how good we are, we can always learn from others!  You are awesome!

You blended the side great!!

How many strand did you put in? and What length did you use?

I used 24"/60 cm hair.

I´m not sure how many strand were out in, because her hair was a mix between bulk hair, and pre-tipped.

And thanks ...
