okay so heres the deal...i made a post waay waay back about my hair problems but i dont think anyone would remember so lemme update u guys..i had a curl in my hair (not jheri) but it was still really dry, like when i went out in the heat n stuff so one day i decided i wanted a change n told my mom i wantd to straighten it.she told me not to but being the rebellious teen that i am i didnt listen n went ahead anyway...boy was i wrong..sum months after that my hair started breaking at its worst and i was going crazy...so my cousin's hairstylist told me i should either cut it all off or go with braids to grow it out. but what 16yr old girl is gonna cut all her hair off right? lucky 4 me after all the breakage i actually had hair that could go into braids, n ive been braiding it for the past 2 or 3 months tho...but not the single braids, in cornrows.my hair's been growing out somewhat but im stuck in a rut right now...my prom is in about 4 months and i ve got no clue what to do with my hair 4 it...this is gonna be the biggest night of my life and im really worried about how im gonna style my hair...

do any of yall have any suggestions as to how i could style it?

oh n right now all my dead straight ends are gone and my natural hair is kinda afro length...i was kinda thinkin about goin back to my curl but im also worried about lookin boyish...what do u think?

how long is your hair??

You can have flat twist in the front and wear the back out in your curly fro. I think that would be really pretty. Or you can try single braids (curly ones). You should probably go back to your sylist so she can suggest something for you =)

I agree with everyone else I would get extensions.  Like Pokahontas said you don't want to ruin your progress.
