You could start using Jojoba oil, which is similar to sebum, and/or Elasta QP Mango Butter for adding moisture. You could also take advatage of protective styles like braids and buns since you want to grow hair. You could also start to wash in braids so you don't have to do major detangling and get breakage afterwards (if you have that problem).

My hair was relaxed and damaged and these things helped me a great deal when I longed for growth.

Also, is it as good as the CANTU Oil Moisturizer?

This week, I'm buying new moisturizers, because I want to see if I can get a product that's better than the Pantene Oil Moisturizer.

Also, how much is jojoba oil (approx.) and can I get it in the health food store? Can I mix my rosemary oil into it?

I'm not sure if Cantu Oil is a moisturizer. It says oil so I am inclined to say that it is not a moisturizer.

Yeah, You can buy Elasta QP Mango Butter at a BSS. I heard you can find it at Walmart in some towns. Not mine though.

My bottle of jojoba oil, 4oz, cost me 3.99. I'm not sure if that is a good price for it or not.  I've never tried to mix it with anything. It doesnt stink in the first place. I suppose you could.

I'm sure someone on here can fill in the gaps and questions which I cannot answer.
