I hope this would be the right part of the forum to post as it is dealing with extensions
haha

anyway I'll introduce myself,My name is Joe
I'm a m.a.c makeup artist and a hairstylist

Soon I will be adding some loose extensions to my hair,I just have a few questions
My hair is naturally wavy and super thick and coarse, what I need to know is if wavy extensions would be best for my hair type,I do thin my hair out and straighten it but it's not stick straight,I find silky straight extension hair to be too shiny and silky for my liking,i'm thinking that wavy could be straightened and that it would blend in better with my hair
correct?

here are a few pictures of me so that you can see what my hair is currently like and what I will be going for

me:

i'll doing this blonde chunk again

and this will be the back

thanks guys

My gosh, a man who is a MAC make up artist, now that's my kind of guy!

I would go for the wavy extensions, as it would better match your natural texture.  If you wanted to get straight extensions, then you'd have to straighten your hair every day to make the textures match.

So what did you have to do to become a MAC artist?  MAC's my favorite brand.

yes, thats what i was thinking,i do pretty much straighten it anymore but it seems like wavy would still match my texture

i've been working for mac for almost a year now,its a longgggggggggg interview process i went through three before i found out whether or not i had the job, very frustrating haha
but worth every minute of the wait
