I came across this website:

http://www.hotstrands.com/index.html - http://www.hotstrands.com/index.html

It appears to be another seamless weft product that you tape in.

I wasnt able to view the instructions video, Im at work and cant download anything so Ill have to look again when I get home, but it looks interesting. Ive never heard of BioTress hair. Anyone have any experience with it? It sounds like its synthetic but can be curled, blow dried, and you can use products on it and the price isnt bad.

It sounds like pro-tac.Their comparisons are funny. They bash
clip-ins saying they have to be taken out when you go to sleep. I find
that to be an advantage. ha ha

Hey Metalgirl, I tried back combing today and it REALLY helped!! Thanks
so much! I didn't put hair spray on the back combed part because I don't like hairspray. Is it bad for your hair to back comb?

 What removes Hot Strands Extensions?
A 7. Our Hot Strands remover, which is an all natural, organic citrus remover.

Q 8. How is the hair attached?
A 8. A patent-pending tape method that is medical-grade quality.

sounds exactly like pro tac and orange oil remover lol

Hi Malibu,

I have been wearing my clip ins and back combing my hair for about 6 years now (give or take).  I do have one small area of breakage, but that maybe due to coloring anyway, and not extensions.

Overall, if you carefully brush out the backcombing when you take your extensions out, it should be ok.  If it was damaging, I'm sure I"d be seeing damage in my own hair, and I am not seeing any substancial damage.

Thanks Metalgirl!
I read on this forum that you have a tutorial on making clip-ins.
Can you tell me where it is?
