AND MY HEAD IS NUMB! My hair is already tenderheaded, so you could imagine the excrusiating pain I'm going through. The braids aren't really tight but my hair isn't used to being in such small-heavy braids. When the lady was doing my hair, she did a good job. She put coconut grease on the extensions so now my hair smells yummy but she went against my no-petroleum rule, even though I'm not very strict with that. I never knew how big my head was (it took 3 hours to finish, and i'm impaitient) My hair is SUPER THICK too....I think I'm leaving these in for a while.

Yeah...I trimmed like an inch off my hair yesterday. I twisted it, wet it and then trimmed the thin peices....I'm so proud of my self =)

Yay....The braids loosened up!!! My head isn't numb.

Good job on the trimming!

I haven't had braids added to my head but I know people that sit for 6 to 12 hours to get braided. You are a lucky one.

How long do you plan on keeping them in? Make sure to moisturize them and keep them clean.

I plan to keep them in for two months. I have the type of braid extensions that can be washed (without being fuzzy), so they will be washed every week I have them in =)

This is actually the first time I went to a hair dresser to get my hair braided. My mom usually does my hair but they don't last long.
