Hi I am new to coloring my hair besides the at home 1 color all over type of thing. I am going to an upscale salon to acheive this look:

My question is what is this type of process called? Is it Full foil highlights? Is it highlights & lowlights? I have also heard the term color weaving? I am very confused. I want to make sure I set the appoitment the correct way to allow enough time.Does anyone know how long it will take? I am a very dark brunette. This picture is exactly what i want except I want more of the darker strands to show not the blonde strands. Also I colored my hair about 3 months ago to cover grays but just slightly lighter than my natural color. Will this affect what I want to do?

Thanks for any input!!

It looks like it is foil highlights with 2 colors. Oooh expensive.

I emailed the salon the picture so they can give me a quote I am trying to stay under $200. If it is more then that then I will just stick to some blonde highlights only.
