My hair has grown out from my chemo therapy.  It is now to my shoulders which I am very pleased and feel so fortunate to be a survivor.  I have recently developed short hairs that are from the start of my part and at the right and left side of my forehead.  Also they are at the area right by the ears (sideburn area for men).  They are very hard to manage and they make my hair at the top thinner.  What causes this, is there anything I can do, and will they ever go away?

First off, congrats if you are now cancer free! I never had chemo but I did have cancer when I was alot younger. Second, I had some hair fallout last year due to overprocessing, and am getting those "little hairs" too. It is my hair growing back in where it fell out. They drive me nuts but my scalp looks better without bald-spots, and the regrowth will come back all the way in time. I just try different styles to blend it in, but you will probably have to live with it for a bit. It is a good thing because your hair is thickening back up. Within a year it will probably look pretty good.
