24" This month. I could have sworn blind I cut it back to 20 in January but it seems to be growing very quickly just now. I've grown my fringe from eyebrow to nose three times since January and I'm keeping it going this time.

The Lush Chamomile lightener worked a little too well and my long hidden red semi dye of September resurface or else I'm more red then I remember. I used to have quite alot of red but it's looking very red just now. I'm still considering doing a henna blend with indigo to make it darker.

Routine: Wash and condition once every two days and oil on night before wash. BBB hair every night and sleep with Jasmine-tail in. No heat although i did straighten it once(first since November) last Friday and didn't really like it anymore.

This week I have a bet on with my friends so I can't use a brush or comb and can only use fingers to untangle my hair. I'll have Shakira hair by the end of the week.

That is one day of no brushing.

Hiya! I've sort of been lurking a bit. So far it's £15 that I stand to win. That will get my henna or some new hairtoys so I'm not going to lose this one!

Hey HFO...nothing wrong with a bit of red   Your hair is looking fabulous!  Btw, I usually finger comb...however you might find this harder with your hair being so thick.

I think this might be it? http://www.lush.com.au/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=9483 - http://www.lush.com.au/catalog/product_info.php?products_id= 9483

(I really like a lot of lush products - my current fave is Veganese conditioner - it has some lemon juice in it so maybe it could be a lightener also?)

Thanks SK....but I'm not too keen on that first ingredient (Sodium Lauryl Sulphate).  Think I'll give it a miss

Woohoo! I hope you win the bet. 15 GBP is a lot... at least from my point of view.

We share the same hair type, HFO. I generally use a comb, though mostly I use my fingers when my son has hidden my comb.

Ooh sorry for ignoring you Dave, I didn't notice your post.

It grows at whatever speed it feels like really. I really can't keep a track.

As the title says, I can't work a steady progress report so here's my early May one. I've never posted the front of me hair so here goes.

Sorry if that terrifies you btw! I was a bit scraggy and had just went mental with a makeup wipe so I'm a bit red.

Thanks guys! I still have a little bit of the thinning at the ends to clear but other than that, I'm pretty happy with my hair.

I've went back to gentle blowdrying because my hair takes all day to airdry and since it's wet for a long time, that means it's in a more fragile state for a long time so blowdrying is healthier for me.

Thanks everyoneSmile. Blowdrying works so much better for me since I play with my hair alot and it isn't very good for wet hair. Once I twisted a bit and it just snapped. I wasn't too happyTongue!
