Hey everyone!

I kinda have a couple of questions regarding my hair and I am hoping that someone can help me out!!

I have naturally DARK brown hair and have it bleached out very blonde!  It is time for a root touch up this weekend, however this is my concern.  When I do the roots with bleach when I am completed and have washed it out, it is always verys brassy and orange looking at the roots.  I have had it professionally done before and when htey were done bleaching they put a toner on or something or that sort.

So, to get rid of my brassy color at the roots, what do I use? I m going to Sally Beauty Supply this weekend so if someone could tell me EXACTLY what to use and how to use it I would REALLY appreciate it!

Thanks so much!

If the color is brassy and orange looking at the roots then it has not bleached light enough.  Sometimes darker hair will need a couple of applications to lighten to the yellow or pale yellow stage.

How long do you leave the bleach on for?  And are you putting a cap on to keep the bleach from drying out.  The bleach will only work while moist and is only active for 90 minutes.

You will still need to use a toner to have the roots match the length of your hair.
