Hi, I'm new here, but not to extensions. I had extensions YEARS ago (about 1990) before they became a hot thing for caucasian women.... back when it only cost aprox $300 for hair, braided tracks with hair  weaved in, color & haircut!! LOL

I'm going to be doing a DIY and am amazed at all the new methods there are now. I already have the hair (human hair) in wefts. My question is I'm an EMT/firefighter ..... am mostly on an ambulance and usually only put my fire gear on about once a week .... most of the guys who're designated to the engines are the ones to work the fires. I'm thinking that the tracks and braided in are going to be the best way to go but would love to try the pro tac stripes or fusion (fusion is my favorite "look" with the extensions).

What would you suggest? Any tips, hints, and opinions would greatly be appreciated!

Thanks! Sheri

Would your job affect the method used that much?

welcome to our community-

far as only wearing the gear once in a while, i would think what ever method u use should stay in. i would just be very careful taking it off and putting it on- i ride a harley and wear a helmet and my hair always stays in, i have hairlocs ind, and wefts too,

again, welcome a board!
