OK stop with the haircolor. Once you put an artificial haircolor onto virgin hair it now has an artificial pigment in the cortex of the hair strand. You CANNOT put a lighter color onto that previously colored hair as it will not lighten. Haircoloring doesn't lighten artificial pigment and never, never ever put color over color because it will not lighten in fact it will only get darker.
Once you color your hair the only way to lighten previously colored hair is bleach. I wouldn't recommend doing it yourself since bleach is not an exact science and it lifts in stages. Goto a salon and have your color fixed to a satisfactory result that you can live with and then deep condition and use a moisturizing shampoo on your chemically treated hair to maintain and restore moisture into the hair strands that the chemical processes and bleaching as it will have stressed out your hair.
Any chemical service you do on your hair only puts more stress on the hair so leave it to a professional if you don't know what you are doing. Bleaching your hair is not something I'd recommend you do yourself because if you mess up your could melt or break off at or near the scalp and your hair will be damaged.
Hope that helps to answer your questions
