I just got my hair highlighted and it is a little brassy and orange. I was thinking of using http://www.cameobeauty.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=Cameo&Product_Code=73000 - http://www.cameobeauty.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD &Store_Code=Cameo&Product_Code=73000  to make it whiter and and more pastel. I don't want to ruin my highlights, so will the toner just color my highlights while keeping them there?

Honey honey..please wait atleast 2 days before you start bumping up the tread...  But um i guess that toner would do the job, i for my part dont like adding extra chemicals after i have prossesed. So i use to mash up blueberries and mix them with conditioner, leave it in about 1-2 minutes and voila a cheap and conditing non damadgein Toner!:D

Hi:  You indicate that you just got highlights.  If you got them done at a salon, then you should go back and say that you don't like the color and ask the stylist to fix them.  This is your right as you paid for the service.  Do not put anything onto your hair or the salon won't have to fix the highlights.

It sounds as if the stylist did not leave on the bleach long enough to bring your hair to the pale pastel color you are seeking.  Hair lightens in stages (see Claude's sticky post ont the basics of haircoloring) so that right now your highlights have exposed the underlying colors of the reddish-orange.  No toner that I know of will lighten your highlights to a pale pastel color - I think only more bleaching will accomplish a lighter color.  A toner might tone down the orangish color and then the highlights will appear less orange but will probably also be darker than you are wanting.  Maria
